So we’ve unpacked our boxes, set up our stations, connected with the meter man, the gas man, and everything else that relates to moving. It’s official. We’ve set up a new shop in downtown Collingwood (for our clients outside the province, that’s still Ontario). High ceilings, bright lighting, great location – we feel right at home here already.
It’s been a great year for us at Canopy Media – starting with a stint in the Switch Video launch pad last fall, then a summer spent at our Alfred Street location in Thornbury (thanks Kati and Jeremy). We have to say, it’s been great working in a place where you can pick your vegetables fresh for lunch from the garden out back. Two blocks from the freshest water in the world. Can’t beat it.
But now we’re settling in. We’re hitting our local groove. We’ve always loved Collingwood. It’s a great place to work, and to play. As such, we’ve chosen a location on the main street beside the Bank of Montreal (and kitty-corner to Cafe Chartreuse no less!). If you’re familiar with the area, we’re located in the old Lost Dog Studio space.
