Canopy Media was founded by Kai as a side project driven by a fascination with business storytelling. While Kai was still working as a journalist, this year marked the moment they began solving real problems for their first clients.

2009

A major inflection point where the team realized growth could be modeled mathematically. Canopy shifted from “selling websites” to “selling results,” opening its first physical office in Belleville, Ontario.

2011

Operatio Marketing was founded by CEO Harlen Suslik in 2018. The establishment of the company was driven by Harlen’s realization of a market gap, derived from his experiences working with various agencies for his previous businesses.
